First Karaoke prototype in your Apple iPhone: TuneWiki
This application is an alternative musical player for your iPhone. What TuneWiki can do:
1. It can find by name the author and the name of music track, its text on their software server;
2. Together with the music track’s text TuneWiki loads timing (when what line of a song to display, subtitles to movies work similarly);
3. After that TuneWiki plays music track and display the text of this track (almost like in karaoke)
If timing for a music track is absent, you will be offered to switch lines of a music track during playback.
And, if you thus listen a music track up to the end, your generated timing will be loaded on a server and saved, and other users can listen this music track with text and with your timing. If during listening of a music track the user considers, that flowing timing is wrong, he can make re-sync and rewrite it anew.
Thus, the community will generate a database with texts of different music tracks from all over the world.
TuneWiki exists is developed for Windows users, with similar described by functionality + possibility of texts loading/editing.
Database consists of thousands of texts for the majority of popular music tracks.
TuneWiki restrictions:
* Does not support Russian-speaking names of music authors and music tracks;
* The function of saving of yours timings will work, only if you will be registered on their website of the program and to specify in TuneWiki options your login.
